She allows us to feed, brush and pet her, most of the time. We enjoy feeding all the wild birds here, so she watches cat television between all her cat naps.

Since we have started using the "Ferminator" on her daily, she has become more vocal and can carry on a conversation as long as you want. In reality, you never own a cat, they own you. They purr when they feel like letting you pet them. Other than that, if they don't scratch your funiture or mess in the house, all you can hope for is that they are sweet some of the time. Of course, they also make good feet warmers in the winter.
